Hi StillNotWorkin, have you tried to run in Internet Explorer (IE) rather in Firefox. Since i did successfully post the image in IE, but not in Firefox.

I tried the permissions settings, I put everything at 777, and I tried the fix listed on this site, uploading the flash disable plugin and replacing the two files…. still get the same error. Everything uploads fine but the screen goes blank when I click “insert into post” or “save changes.”

Here’s another tip.

I ran into the “can’t insert picture in post after I’d successfully uploaded it” problem and figured out that it was a permissions problem.

I had already added “write” permissions to the /wp-content/upload directory — which got me uploading pictures just fine. The thing that made everything work was to also add “read” permissions for the server against that folder.

Might work for your readers too.
